Classes

We offer biweekly bike repair/maintenance classes. Class topics include brake adjustments, shifter/derailleur adjustments, chain replacement, brake bleeding, and more. Each class is 60 minutes, with much of that time being used for hands on practice. Each class has only 8 spots available, so call in to reserve your spot.

Drop in rate is $25, if you call in to reserve your spot it's $20.

  • General - Monday 1/20/2024 4:30pm

    This class will be focused on day to day things you can do to keep your bike running well. This type of maintenance will help decrease the frequency and severity of necessary repairs. This will include how to properly wash a bike, how to remove cassette/chain for cleaning, and where and how often to lubricate your bike. This will also include how to determine the life of your parts, how to know if your tires, brake pads, chain, etc needs to be replaced.

  • Brake adjustments - Friday 11/24/2024 4:30pm

    This class will be focused on how to properly adjust a v-brake or a disc brake. These are the two most common brake types. This will include instruction on adjusting these brakes as well as replacing the brake pads as necessary.

  • Shifter Adjustments - Monday 1/27/2024 4:30pm

    This class will be focused on how to properly index a shifter. At the conclusion of this class, you should be able to properly fix minor shifting issues. This is a great skill to have for last minute adjustments before a ride or race.
